I visited the main hall of Taiyuin!
This time, I went inside the main hall and saw a picture of a lion (Kano Tanyu) and Iemitsu’s coming-of-age armor.
And what left an impression on me was the experience of sitting in the worship hall and listening to the stories of the monks.
“Yashamon’s Yasha is a colorful Yasha that you can’t see anywhere else.”
That’s what I was saying.
I can’t take pictures inside the main shrine, but I was allowed to take pictures of the surroundings.
And I was surprised to be able to take a nice picture of the orb on the way home (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
This tree is called Takano maki and is said to be 400 years old.
I didn’t visit the main hall of Rinno-ji, so next time I’d like to try copying sutras.
